| Mar 22, 2006 - Leaving the Guatemalan highlands
| | Up at 3am today to leave Panajachel and the Guatemalan highlands for the Mayan ruins of Northern Guatemala. Apart from the ridiculously early start time, we are really excited about seeing Tikal. First we take a shuttle back to the airport in Guatemala City, then we fly to Flores, then take another shuttle into the archeological park. |
