| | We left Antigua behind on Saturday for a quick day in Panajachel, a town nicknamed (rather unkindly) as Gringotenango. The name is not entirely unjustified, although frankly, Antigua had a lot more foreigners. You can't beat the scenery, though. We found a cute little guesthouse in town that only cost about $12 for the night and it was right in the middle of the action. John went on a weaving purchase frenzy and along the way made of couple of new friends. We can only hope that Xela has a DHL office or he is doomed! |
