Re: Your Transportation
Alright. I admit it . .. I'm a weenie. NO WAY do I think I'd have taken that last boat ride. Oh my! You two are WAY more adventurous than this old lady! I am so glad you arrived on solid ground safe and sound. Hope the last leg of the trip to Honduras is relatively boring!

Re: The Trip
Thank you both for including me on your waundering. So little has changed since I lived in Cental America (Panama 62-64). Your photos brought back so many good memories, the painted storefronts, the colored fabrics, the weathered face of the lady. I am so glad you took me on your trip.

Re: The Market Visit
All those people in the narrow street! I could feel my clautrophobia rearing its ugly head, just from looking at the photos!

I can see why it was difficult for John to refrain from buying the woven goods. They are beautiful! I love the colors.

Sounds like you two are still having a great time. I'm so glad. Looking forward to the next journal entry!

Re: weaving, etc.
Thanks for keeping us up to date with your travels. Peru also had lots of weaving centers. We visited one in the high Andes Mts. The colors used in all the indigious weavings are so rich and vibrant! Do they do their own thread/yarn dying too as well as weaving at the place John is doing his weaving? At the center we visited they had huge vats steaming with different colored dyes.

Re: the latest post
So glad to hear from you~I've been thinking about you & wondering how your lessons are going! Sounds like another one of your very interesting trips thus far. Have you found Queenstown yet? Oh wait, that was a past adventure! Take care, do your homework & watch out for those wild dogs!
